Education

BA and MA in English Literature and Composition from Liberty University
MA in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College

Experience

Prior to joining Clapham, Brodie taught composition and rhetoric at a number of collegiate institutions. He served as an instructor of college composition at Liberty University, and he worked as a writing consultant for graduate students at the Wheaton College Writing Center. Brodie also served in pastoral ministry, tending to the spiritual needs of his hometown church—CEFC—as the Gathering’s Venue Pastor. His research areas include the Sapiential and Prophetic Books of the Old Testament, the intersection of theology and theatre, and the linguistics of both Greek and Hebrew. Alongside his responsibilities at Clapham, Brodie continues to serve as a founding member of Shakespeare: Page to Stage, a Shakespeare company based in Carlisle, PA.

Interests

Brodie enjoys translating ancient texts, juggling, playing a variety of eclectic instruments, reciting poetry, and feeding his pet python, Turkey.

Church

Brodie attends All Souls Anglican Church with his wife Morgan.
