B.S in Physics, Minor in Mathematics, Minor in Bible and Theology from Wheaton College
Experience
Prior to joining Clapham, Emma spent time researching Quantum and Plasma Physics at both Northwestern University and Wheaton College. She delights in teaching others about the science she has discovered through both the classroom and the research field. Emma also spent her time at Wheaton College as a teaching assistant in the Wheaton College Observatory, sharing the beauty of the night sky and the fascinating workings of telescopes with others—from community members to visiting Girl Scout troops. She is excited to bring an enthusiasm for Physics and Math, combined with a passion for Biblical study, to Clapham School to inspire students to worship God through the study of the sciences.
Interests
In addition to studying God’s creation, Emma enjoys trying her hand at various art projects such as collaging and painting, hiking through beautiful scenery, reading the longest fiction books she can find, improving her cooking skills, and admiring the stars.
Church
Emma attends All Souls Anglican Church in Wheaton.
