Isabella Vander Woude

Class Eight
Isabella Vander Woude

Education

B.A. in Great Texts of the Western Tradition from Baylor University

Experience

From a young age, Isabella has had a passion for classical Christian education. Her interest began in second grade when she enrolled at Providence Christian Academy, where she first encountered the classical model and soon felt a clear calling to become a teacher. This led her to Baylor University, where she pursued a degree in Great Texts through the Honors College, along with a teaching concentration in Liberal Arts. As part of her training, she completed a teaching internship at Live Oak Classical School. Isabella is excited to be part of Clapham School and looks forward to growing alongside her students as she helps guide and encourage them in both their academics and their faith.

Interests

Isabella loves to play the violin, reread all her favorite books, meditate on God’s Word and seek Him out in His creation through hiking and spending time outdoors.

Church

Isabella has recently moved to the Wheaton area, so she is looking forward to finding a church home nearby!
