Experience
Jacob has been teaching as an adjunct professor at various colleges since 2018. From 2020-2026 he taught 5th-12th grade Latin at Covenant Classical School in Naperville. He regularly speaks at academic conferences and publishes research on and translations of medieval philosophy and theology.
Interests
Jacob is currently brushing up on his ancient Greek, Spanish, and Arabic and slowly learning classical Chinese and modern Greek. He enjoys reading and writing (or pretending to write) imaginative fiction and aspires to write a fantasy novel in Latin. He is often found near Lincoln Marsh watching trains with his children.
Church
Jacob attends Church of the Resurrection (ACNA) in Wheaton with his wife, Abby, and their two children, Ivan and Evelyn. They are active participants in Thrive, Rez's support group for parents of children with special needs.
