B.S. Multidisciplinary Studies from Oklahoma State University
Experience
Mary recently graduated from Oklahoma State University. After spending three summers at Honey Rock and substitute teaching at the Christian classical school she attended in her youth, she knew the Lord was leading her to work in an educational setting aspiring to engage and develop students for God's Kingdom. She co-led wilderness trips at Honey Rock for two summers and spent the previous summer as a Unit Leader in the kitchen. She hopes the Lord uses her as a vessel for Christ to work in the lives of students at Clapham this year!
Interests
While Mary delights in spending time with loved ones and outings to the city, her introverted soul cherishes her time at home with books, artistic engagement, or creative projects in the kitchen. She played collegiate tennis for a year - and still enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, or volleyball - but only when the games are overtly competitive. She loves working with her hands - particularly in farm-to-table endeavors - and is passionate about regenerative farming's integration with creation care and holistic living.
Church
Before moving to Wheaton, Mary was a member and youth volunteer at Eagle Heights in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She has been attending The Church of the Resurrection in Wheaton.
