Experience
In his time at Wheaton College, Parker pursued opportunities to teach in classical Christian schools. He completed a Latin teaching practicum at Clapham, earned a Certificate for Teaching Latin in Classical Christian Schools at Wheaton, and substitute taught at Holy Trinity Classical Christian School. He has also helped lead several youth and young adult discipleship ministries. He served as the Chaplain of the Wheaton College Men’s Glee Club and worked as a counselor at Camp Ridgecrest for Boys in North Carolina. He is currently an adult leader at College Church’s high school ministry, HYACKS. Some of his favorite topics of research during his time at Wheaton were the history of Latin pedagogy, symbolism in Charles Dickens’s Bleak House, and change leadership within Christian contexts.
Interests
Parker enjoys running, reading, writing sonnets, playing board games, playing guitar, and cooking new food.
