Experience
Prior to joining Clapham, Sonia – holding the strong conviction of the importance of education rooted in a biblical worldview – taught in a couple of Illinois Christian schools over the last several years. In that time, she had the privilege to fill the role of lead Third Grade teacher for ten years and additionally experienced teaching Spanish for First through Fifth Grades.
Interests
Sonia enjoys being in calm, gentle spaces, listening to hymns, going on walks, delighting in any and all flowers, and viewing sunsets. She appreciates the beauty and art of stained glass and is intentional on healthy, natural living. Above all, her soul delights in reading the Bible, learning about God, and studying His Word.
Church
Sonia thoroughly enjoys attending Village Green Church each week to learn about God and gather among Christ's people.
