Experience

Patrick previously worked at Clapham School from 2009 to 2014. After leaving Clapham, he worked at Providence Classical Christian Academy in St. Louis as Dean of the Upper School. Dr. Egan is also Visiting Professor in New Testament at Covenant Seminary in St. Louis, teaching online courses in New Testament Greek. He is also Professor of New Testament Studies and Hermeneutics at Kings Evangelical Divinity School, an online seminary based in Kent, UK. In 2016 he published his first book, Ecclesiology and the Scriptural Narrative of 1 Peter (Wipf & Stock). Dr. Egan regularly writes on the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern research at Educational Renaissance. Patrick returned to Clapham School in 2019.

Interests

In his free time he enjoys running, playing guitar, and spending time with his family.
