Clapham Christian Classical School

Fine & Performing Arts

At Clapham School we believe in the power of art and music to inspire and shape the affections of our students.

The classical tradition called this musical education or an education inspired by the Muses. From the earliest grades all our students study the foundational skills of art and music, led by our exceptional faculty members.

Artist Studies

Students learn to appreciate the tradition of great artists and composers through studies with their homeroom teacher.

From Explorers I (PreK) through Class Eight, students study the great works of a different artist and composer each semester. In this way, they come to know and love many of the best paintings and compositions of all time.

Graduate Success Stories - Clapham Christian School

Clapham Singers

Students in Classes Six-Twelve have the opportunity to join the Clapham Singers, an ensemble that meets regularly to learn challenging music, grow in vocal technique, and rehearse for upcoming performances.

Each year they perform a varied repertoire of music at Chapel, Pack-the-Place, the Fall Benefit, the Christmas Concert, and Fine Arts Day, among other performances!

Theater & Performance

Every year students perform in our annual Christmas Concert and Spring Fine Arts Day. Our Middle School students perform a Shakespeare play while High School drama students perform scenes and monologues or a play.

Student musicians and ensembles also perform at a variety of other Clapham events throughout the year, like Grandparents Day, the Fall Benefit, and the Spring Benefit.
