Kolby lives in the western suburbs with his wife Bethany and four children. His family attends College Church where they are members.

"It is a great joy to serve at an institution that holds together the truth of the gospel, a contagious love for learning, and a deep-seated conviction to serve. Like William Wilberforce and his Clapham peers, my prayer for the next generation is that they would use their God-given talents, skills, and abilities to lift up the name of Christ and look for ways to invite others with them in the pursuit of all that Good, True, and Beautiful.”
